Becoming Me: Because Having a Midlife Crisis Deserves its own workbook

When I started re-imagining what Survival Fun Guide could be, Becoming Me was the very first workbook I started building. I was in the middle of trying to summon my inner goddess—rising from the ashes, pressure-formed diamond, phoenix in mom jeans... pick your metaphor. I’d just come out of a five-plus year depression and was still waiting for the breakdown I deserved. The years leading up to this were, in a word, brutal.
As I was figuring out how to bring her (the inner goddess, not the breakdown) to the surface, this workbook started taking shape.
The process hasn’t been fast—there were plenty of days where I questioned how it would all come together. But then I found the audience (hi, friends!) I truly wanted to build around. With each question I wrote, each blog post I built, and the spark of an online show in the works, things began clicking. Slowly, the fog lifted and the details got sharper.
So after years of late nights, messy notebooks, and starting over a dozen times, Becoming Me is finally ready to meet the world.
For now, it’s available as a digital download—because printing a full-color workbook like this would currently cost about $50. (Yes, the content’s worth it. No, we’re not charging that… yet.) We’re actively working on options for printed versions, but the digital edition is here and ready to help you reconnect with you.
Go at your own pace—there’s no deadline, no homework, no pressure. Just a guided journey into who you are now, especially as we hit that age where turning your head sounds like popping bubble wrap and sneezing requires a solid core and crossed legs.
This is just the beginning. More workbooks are in the pipeline, merch is in the works, and memberships are launching soon. Becoming Me is the first piece of the puzzle—and I’m so excited you’re here to be part of it.
